Hi I need a lawyer that is willing to sue the state of michigan. Now I would like to tell you the story. My daughter was in an abusive relationship her boyfriend even put a cicarette out on her face. We the granparents called the state to get help that was the biggest mistake of our life since then we have been fighting for our granchildren. We came across this case worker Named Schevonne Steele who is nothing but a nightmare, we placed the boys with my ex-wife and my daughter went 2 counties away where we used to live to get away from this man. While she was there this case worker told my ex-wife if she came in contact with my daughter she would take the gran boys away and adopt them out so we made her stay away. So then this caseworker charged her with abondoning her children which is a lie we kept her away. Well my daughter was pg and she had my gorgous grandaughter and at the same time we hired a lawyer trying to fix this so he called this case worker to start trying to fix this problem so what did she do she came and took our gran daughter out of my house a month after she was born no complaint filed just came and took her. So we started fighting for her. My daughter went to classes everynight she passed all her drops but this case worker was bias from the very start. She put my grandaughter with a homosexual couple. Well now heres where it gets sticky my daughter was doing very well in all her things and this case worker was out to get her she was told by all her counselors how good she was doing but this case worker and her friend worked together to take my grandaughter her friend that shares an office wrote a bad report on every visit but whenever anyone else watched they praised my daughter on how good she was doing. She told my daughter she missed a drop so we went to her notebook she kept everything in and that was the only reciept that was missing and this caseworker had access to this notebook so we had to go to the hospital to get proof she took it and she had taken it. Now to the court dates this caseworker placed my grandaughter with a homosexual couple and at all the court dates he was there taking notes and sitting by this case worker I believe there friends so she stole my grandaughter for one of her firends. He was there at every court date taking notes until our laywer complained about it then he stopped comming so we have a lawyer that can be brought into court to verify this. Then we have had a family member say from the very start she wanted this baby she came to court once and this case worker rolled her eyes at her and would not give her a chance. Then she took us to court to try to terminate and the judge told the case worker to back off and give my daughter a chance. But that wasn’t good enough she screamed at our laywer in the hall that she was still going to terminate and took it to a dif. judge within a week to try to terminate again even though the first judge gave her an order not to take it to a dif. judge said it right in open court there should be records. Then while my daughter was on the stand these case workers were hiding there heads in the back of the court laughing behind the pews there very lucky i’m a decent human being or i could of hurt them. I was off work for 3 weeks and this is what i seen luteran social services had there clocks set 5 mins fast to make these kids seem late then they showed up 30 to 50 mins late with my grandaughter while i was sitting in office the mailman came and had a certified letter the recieptionist said can i sign for it he said yes so this women laughed and said good we can say we never got it. Now they terminated my gran daughter and the night mare is still continuing. We have a family member that has been approved to get this baby but this case worker told her it would take 3 or 4 months to get it through shes been dragging her feet well now we got a certified letter saying the babys been in foster care for a yr. so by state law the homosexual couple is going to get to adopt her. 1 homosexuals cannot adopt in Michigan Hes going in as a single man but this case worker knows hes a homosexual couple and our family member has been approved to have this baby oh and i almost forgot that the day they came and took this baby we asked if we could place her with family and they told us no they have a place to put her it was angel house a foster care place. The next day it was in the paper saying judge takes infant and places in angel house quoting him he said if dhs won’t keep there beds full i will. The next day he was relieved from the case because of that. I believe we have a multi million dollar law suit. we have witnesses on how she treated us she went against a judges ruling and shes letting a homsexual couple adopt my gorgous grandaughter in Mich. even though its ilegal, and even if hes going in as a single man why would you chose a single man over a family member that is happily married and has been approved by the social services in her area. I believe this is her homsexual friend and she stole my grandaughter and I need a lawyer that is not afraid to sue the state of mich. to protect my family and set these people straight. thankyou Ron

I am writing this about them because they stole all 3 of my kids from me. my last child was without any cause and no reason to do it. They would say I wasnt doing my urine screens so i got proof and showed them i was doing them. Shevonne Steele told me how well i was doing and than 2 days later terminates my rights in court as she is laughing in court while im being terminated and the judge is crying while she was making me think i was getting my daughter back. she lies through her teeth to get what she wants. She placed my daughter with two homosexuals and while she was letting me fight for my daughter back making me believe i had a chance would not take them out of there care when i told her i was uncomfortable with her being there. one judge pretty much told her to back off of me i was doing good so she went over that judges head and got a different judge to terminate me. i had councelors and physciatrists tell her how well i was doing but that i had a hard way of expressing my feelings and talking about things but yet she continued saying i wasnt learning anything that i was lying. well after i was terminated my aunt has been trying to get my daughter since she was born and this shevonne steele kept putting it off and ignoring it my aunt was proven fit to have her and everything but now shevonne has put it off so long that she is saying my daughter has been placed with homosexuals for a year now and they have the right to adopt her? since when can homosexuals adopt in the state of michigan? they cant i believe this woman got paid good money for my daughter and i think she needs to be looked into.something needs to be done about the way this social services work, they work for kids to be taken from the parent there not there to help them get them back.

My name is Rebecca and 4 years ago I was pregnant. I was 19 at the time and in a bad position. I looked into adoption as a last resort. Although I didn’t want adoption I decicded to look into as a just in case, what a mistake that was! I met with a family who was looking to adopt a healthy white infant and although they wanted a girl they said that they would settle for a boy.

Throughout my pregnancy I was brainwashed I was told repeadtly by the adopters and Tobi the owner of the agency and Jennifer (so called birthparent advocate) that I was doing a good thing that being unwed and young I had no bussiness raising a child. I was told that if I didn’t go through with the adoption I was being selfsish and my baby would be taken from me anyways. They made me feel like an awful person for even thinking of keeping my baby. On the night I gave birth I did not want the adopters there but they insisted.

Julie sat there the whole night while I was in labor and refered to the baby as her son. She told me countelss times I hope your not changing your mind because were wasting alot of time. When my son was born I wanted to hold him and Bill and Julie just about lost their minds Julie did not want me to touch ‘her baby.’ When I held my son I felt like I could not do give him away and I fell apart after that is pretty blurry. I was given pain medication I did not want and I passed out. Right as I was waking up Jennifer Pedley came in my room and thrust some papers in my hands and said sign these very groggy and I did they were surrender papers.

Before my son was born I was promised a fully open adoption names numbers visits ect. the works. Shortky after the adoption was final they adopters dissapeared I never got there real firstnames or any info about them. They have decided not to tell my son hes adopted saying ‘its in his best intrest.’ After this happen I contacted the agency and they told me its not longer there problem Tobi and Jennifer both told me ‘go on with your life you will forget this will seem like a bad dream.’ I have been called names like slut, bitter and crazy by the agency owner Tobi and Jennifer the so called birthparents advocate.

If I want pictures or any info I have to fight with the agency for months to get anything at all. They told me I would forget I haven’t they told me its in his best intrest its not. Im angry that this agency its still at large telling lies to young naive scared woman. They don’t tell woman there options they dig there claws in and start there brainwashing right away. They are baby brokers they hunt down young woman and then tell them the fairy tail of adoption. They outright lied to me and tell me its not there problem. How sad that they are allowed to still be in bussiness how sad there bussiness is ruining lives everyday how sad. Beware of this agency or baby may be the next baby on the auction block.

I entered into a contract in May 2003, a search for my birth mother. I supplied Christine Dillon all the information I had. I knew almost everything, and just needed the last push, and I trusted Locaters Plus with the job.

Needless to say, I tried and tried to reach them, only to find out they had closed down shop and ran away. Both my adopted parents passed away in the early 80’s and it was my adopted mother who started the original search.

Since being adopted in New York State, it was closed records. I was not looking for a long term relationship. I wanted medical information. Having children and not knowing my medical history was an injustice. I still want and need to find out what medical problems myself and my children need to watch out for. My oldest has Crones. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Both are autoimmune problems. With medical records adoptive children can make informed decisions on having children.

Locaters Plus, has done nothing to complete my search. They have not even taken the time to contact me in regards to my case, much less a refund.

I hope that someone out there can help me with this issue.

The District Attorney’s office of Santa Barbara County is conducting a criminal investigation of Orson Mozes and Christen Brown. In consideration are theft by false pretenses and ‘bait and switch’ type schemes for the adoption of children from European countries through AIP. These would be felony charges. No charges have been filed yet and the DA’s office is seeking former clients to build a case. Many have come forward already.

I used this agency to adopt my son from Guatemala. When we started the process we were told to expetc it to take 5 - 9 months. It took us 22 months to bring our son home.

The agency had a lot of staff come and go in that time. We had three different Guatemalan facilitators. We were not always given accurate information about what was happening and it was usually blamed on the facilitators and lawyers in Guatemala who ‘don’t pass on that information’.

Towards the very end of our process it became very difficult to speak to anyone at the agency. Their Maryland office closed, more staff left, and the only number available was a toll free number where a woman answered the phone, took messages, and emailed them to the coordinator. We could not directly reach the coordinator at any time and she would often take dasy to respond to emails or messages.

We completed our adoption in Jan 2007. Since then, Project Oz has moved (left Maryland completely), changed ownership, and just dropped all of it’s former clients.
We adopted from Russia, and the adoption itself had more wrinkles and bumps then it should have, but the post adoption has been less than nil.

We are supposed to submit post adoption reports for 3 years after the adoption. We did get our six month report completed, but then the 1 year no one called us. Project Oz umbrellas (or did umbrella) under another, very nice reputable agency (which I will not name because they are wonderful and I have no issues with them). The acredited agency called us to say that Project oz told them we had been spoken to in December 2007 about our follow up! This is a complete lie, no one ever contacted us, and we are more than willing to complete our follow ups.

So now we are stuck, trying to find someone to do a post follow up visit, and no support at all from Project Oz. The agency that is accredited is the ones who are the most affected. If they cannot get the couples who adopted within 3 years of us to complete their follow ups, they could lose their accreditation, all because of Project Oz.

I would never recommend them for any adoptions. I’m sure they are no longer associated with any accredited agency in Russia, and if they are they should not be!

Milagro Del Carpio is accused of embezzling $400,000 worth of Potential Adoptive Parents money. Money she was given by Main Street Adoption Services in Lancaster PA to facilitate adoptions in Guatemala. Milagro, aka Marcia Del Carpio extorted money from PAPs as well as Main Street. Main Street claims they did not know that Milagro was not paying the attorneys in Guatemala to finish the adoptions of over 30 families. The handlers were not paid, the bio mother’s were to be paid and not paid, the runners were not paid and she has skipped out on several hotel bills in Guatemala City.

Beware, she is trying to offer her own Columbian adoption services, she is a master manipulator and liar and thief. The authorities have been contacted and we hope to see her behind bars were she belongs.
